How long will it take to process my new order and ship my drugs?
After receiving all required documents to process your order, your package is shipped to the address you provided. From the time of clarification (when we have all the required, valid documents), current shipping times are between 2 -3 weeks.
Differences between Canadian Pharmacies and ShipRx (Canada).
The difference is that ShipRx (Canada) has in place a system to ship drugs to the United States - complete with licensed doctors, on-site licensed pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians.
Does my doctor have to know that I am getting my prescriptions filled by a Canadian company?
No, but your physician should be informed of all details of your medical condition.
Can my doctor fill in and fax/send in the patient questionnaire for me?
Yes, however this is not a requirement. All of the necessary information can be sent in on your own.
If I don't want generic substitutions, can I opt to have only brand name drugs?
Yes, however generic drugs are carefully regulated medications that have the same medicinal ingredients as the original brand name drug. They are just generally cheaper in price.
How long will it take for your Canadian doctor to review my prescription?
Once we have all the necessary information such as prescription and patient form your will receive your order within 2 - 3 weeks.
How often are the drug prices updated?
Periodically there may be changes made to items in our price list. You can check our website www.ShipRx.com for the latest prices.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept Master Card and Visa.
Am I obligated to pay any form of sales tax when I order my drugs from you?
No. We do not charge any form of sales tax on your purchases.
How much can I purchase at one time?
You may purchase only a maximum of a 3-month supply (100 days) of each of your medications provided that you have a valid prescription for that supply of medication. If your physician writes a prescription for more than a 3-month supply, we can fill those as refills as they come due.
Your website / literature quotes a price based on different quantities than my prescription calls for - will you still be able to fill my prescription?
Yes, we can fill the quantities listed on the website provided the American prescription has sufficient refills authorized.
After my refills have run out, do I have to submit a new Patient History Form?
No, you simply have to send in a new prescription from your doctor. If you have changed your name then you will need to send in a new patient form with the updated information.
I have a child that is under eighteen years of age, do I have to sign the Patient History Form on his/her behalf?
Yes. ShipRx Canada only deals with people who have met "the age of majority." If you are purchasing on the behalf of a minor, we will require the parent/ guardians' signature in the Patient History Form.
What is your refund policy on shipments?
Due to the nature of the Products, all shipments are not refundable. All sales are final sales.
Are all drugs available in the US available in Canada?
No. We do not have all medications that are available in other parts of the world. We do have the majority of medications available in the U.S. and in Canada.
Why do some drugs have different names in Canada?
These are trade or brand names registered by the manufacturer. In different countries manufacturers will often use different trade names. The medications have the same active ingredients, but may look different and have a different trade name. For example, Prilosec (US) and Losec (Canada).
Why do we not sell all drugs?
We legally can not ship any narcotic or controlled substance across the border. We also will not sell any potentially habit-forming medications or items that require special handling such as refrigeration.
The FDA, due to the current state of their regulations, has taken the position that virtually all shipments of prescription drugs imported from a Canadian pharmacy by a U.S. consumer will violate the law.
Will you accept my insurance?
No. We are located in Canada and because of this we can not accept any foreign insurance.
